Rainer Praschak, Project Manager, Music Austria

Works as a Project Manager and curator „music business“ for the Austrian Music Information Center mica – music austria in Vienna. He has 20 years of experience in the music business and at the moment manages several Cultural Projects funded by the EU. Currently he manages the Projects ETEP – European Talent Exchange Programme and MINSTREL – Music Network Supporting Trans-national exchange and dissemination of music Resources at European Level. mica – music austria is the professional partner for musicians in Austria and was founded in 1994 as an independent, non-profit association. Austrian Music Export is a common initiative of mica – music austria and the Austrian Music Fund. Furthermore Rainer has kept the turntables spinning since the early nineties, organised parties, collected records and has been busy playing in many European cities. He is a long-time Radio-Show host, DJ and vinyl enthusiast.
