EARS on Helsinki speaker, David Pichilingi has over 25 years experience in the international music business. Over his career he has worked as an artist, A&R, management and in the live music environment. Through his career he has worked closely with many artists including New Order, Happy Mondays, The Farm, Sub Sub and with legendary record labels such as RCA, Factory and Produce. In 2008 he set up Sound City which is now the largest and most important metropolitan music festival and business conference in the UK. Sound City annually attracts a business audience of 3,500 delegates from all areas of the international music business and a music festival audience of 40,000 people. Sound City delivers world-class festivals and conferences in other international territories including Dubai, Norway and annually in NYC. They are actively looking for new partners in new territories. David is owner of the beautiful grade 2 listed theatre in Liverpool called The Epstein. He is co owner of Baltic Records that he created in 2013 with Jack Launer and long-term friend Seymour Stein.
