In 1987, Tony Oh started as a musician in the legendary rock band Deulgukwha (Wild Flower), after which he went on to produce over 30 major albums for many SM Entertainment artists in the 1990s and 2000s including BoA, Shinwha and Yoo Young-Jin.
In 2006, he started his publishing company Music Source Korea, where he drafted and negotiated the terms under which ASCAP and KOMCA writers could start to collaborate, setting the PRO standard for copyright management and protection in the K-pop music market.
In 2015, he set his sights on the growing music business in mainland China. Currently, he is the owner and founder of Jam Factory Music Publishing (Korea, [previously known as Source Music]) and Star Master Entertainment (China). He also serves as president for L Diary Lyrics Academy (Korea), Star Master Music Publishing (China), Jam Factory International (Hong Kong) and is a board member for Alliance Music Group (China).
In the last three years alone, his publishing catalog consists of over 300 releases for artists including Exo, Twice, Red Velvet, Shinee, Girls Generation, GOD 7 and Monsta X.
