Thomas Sehested, Director, Danish Cultural Institute in India. Thomas holds a MA in history, but has worked in the brand and communication space for the last 20 years. He is co-founder of Stereo Associates with offices in Copenhagen and Bangalore. Stereo Associates has done more than 50 design and strategy projects for Indian clients – from fashion to pharma and everything in between. From August 2018 he is in charge of setting up a Danish Cultural Institute in India – with the headline being New Encounters by ways of reciprocity. Thomas has written extensively on India – an acclaimed book on modern India, many articles and he is a frequent used commentator on Indian affairs in Danish media. Thomas is on the board of the Indian Danish Chamber of Commerce.
