Aruna is an immersive performance maker based out of Bangalore. She is the Artistic Director of Visual Respiration. Her work looks at creating multi sensorial environments for the audience to experience – around themes of gender, food and Sustainability.
Immersive Theatre blurs boundaries between the audience and the performance, inviting those present in a space to engage with it sensorially.

She has a Masters in Theatre Practice from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London. Aruna has been in theatre and performance for the last 15 years. Her work has been part of festivals in India, Singapore and London. She is an ATSA(Arts Think South Asia) fellow. She also consults in the space of Gender, Diversity and Inclusion with Interweave Consulting where she heads Innovations in inclusion, an initiative to look at learning through experiential ways
